"Seeing Jazz" This is the first of 50 paintings coming your way by my 50th Birthday, March 3, 2012. I'm excited to see how they unfold as I'm really trying to paint the music with more life, bolder designs and no fear. "Seeing Jazz" feels like I'm off to a good start. It is the first time that I've used acrylics with my watercolors other than the squiggles that suggest the movement of the music. It's a bit scary to try a medium in a different way all of a sudden when I've outlined such a project for myself. I've been on the verge to 'Let Go' and feel FREE to paint for awhile now. It feels like such an indulgence. I hope your New Year's Resolutions are allowing you to feel indulgent in what life has to offer you.
