"Club 701" If you are ever in Washington, DC, try the 701 Restaurant. They have piano on Thursday nights and piano & bass on Friday and Saturday nights. They are located at 701 Pennslyvania Avenue. I traveled back east once or twice a year for 15 years straight. I was attending the Buyer's Market to buy art for my gallery, Wolfard & Co. My buying partner, Lil Mole "Mom", and I had a blast on our trips. We loved this 701 Restaurant; the jazz was great as was the food. I always have a sketchbook with me when I travel. This painting was originally sketched at the 701 Restaurant.
